Miriam Nelson. The highest class choreographer in Hollywood. She is familiar with the whole world of old tap and musicals and knows many famous actors. She started her career as a singer and dancer on Broadway; later, she was invited to Hollywood, where she showed her full potential as an actress,dancer and choreographer. And soon came the result - she was invited to work at Paramount Pictures. She has danced or choreographed in many movies, some of which are „Lullaby for Broadway“, „Oklahoma“ and the late – „Sesame Street“.
She has been invited to choreograph in many night clubs, specialized theater performances and television. Among these came an invitation to come to Washington to choreograph a grand show in memory of Amercian presidents. It was called „Honor America“ and was performed for president Ford in 1976, celebrating 200 years of Independance in America. Many famous people performed there. In the present, Miriam Nelson is a teahcer and a choreographer. She speaks about her life and about the famous and extraordinary people she had the opportunity to work with. |
